How opt-outs work (we handle this for you)
Every recipient can stop messages at any time. Here's exactly how that works in 365 Agents — and what you don't have to build yourself.

Every text message recipient has a legal right to stop messages at any time. You don't have to build any of this — 365 Agents handles opt-out processing automatically for every campaign.
Keywords we honor automatically
We accept any of these, in any capitalization, with or without punctuation:
•STOP
•END
•CANCEL
•QUIT
•UNSUBSCRIBE
•STOPALL
•"please opt me out"
•"please unsubscribe me"
•"take me off your list"
What happens when someone opts out
•We add them to your campaign's suppression list immediately
•We send them one final confirmation message letting them know they're opted out
•We don't send them anything else on that campaign, ever
•Your AI agent automatically respects this suppression when choosing recipients
•The opt-out is logged in your compliance records
What you should know
•Opt-outs are per-campaign by default. If someone opts out of your marketing campaign, they won't automatically opt out of your appointment reminders. You can change this in Campaign Settings → Cross-program opt-out if you want all programs to share opt-outs.
•You can't manually "re-add" someone who has opted out. They have to opt back in themselves through the normal flow.
•Opt-out records are retained permanently. This is required, not optional.
The HELP keyword
We also automatically respond when someone texts HELP. The default response includes your program name, how to contact you, and a reminder of how to opt out. You can customize the HELP response per campaign in the dashboard.
