  • Cannabis, CBD, or marijuana (federal law applies, even where state-legal)

  • Payday loans, short-term high-interest loans

  • Debt consolidation, debt collection, credit repair

  • Illegal prescription drugs

  • Gambling and sweepstakes (without special approval)

  • Adult or sexual content

  • Multi-level marketing

  • Deceptive marketing or phishing

We require extra review for

Possible, but with additional documentation and sometimes additional approval time:

  • Firearms retail — possible with strict age verification

  • Alcohol promotion — possible with age verification

  • Tobacco, vape, nicotine (including cessation products) — requires age verification

  • Healthcare — must have documented HIPAA processes for any health-related messaging

  • Legal services — must comply with state-specific attorney advertising rules

  • Insurance — must comply with TCPA and state-specific insurance rules

  • Political messaging — requires additional verification for 527 organizations

Content we won't send regardless of category

  • Threats, harassment, hate speech

  • Impersonation of other brands or individuals

  • Content that uses substitute characters to dodge spam filters (like "Fr33" or "S@ve") — this is explicitly against carrier policy
